Can you expand/extend Spring Training?
I'd like to have more spring games to help me sort out my roster, particularly my pitching staff. I've tried changing the season start date, but all that seems to do is give me more days off before the season starts.
Any ideas? I'd also like to get a Winter League going. I tried just turning my Short Season A league into a Winter League by changing the start date, but then all of the players in AA up were PO'ed that they were "demoted" to A (which of course makes sense). |

I do have an idea about the winter league, though. Why not make a new league on the same level as whichever minor league you want them to migrate from over the winter? Just make sure the schedules don't overlap. One problem, ironically, could be a conflict with your spring training. |

Regarding your suggestion for Winter League - this seems an elegant one - I believe I'll give it a go and see what happens. Thanks! |

Winter Leagues are awesome! Players actually see a bump in ratings from playing there...and you don't have to worry about not letting your star 1B getting at-bats...if you choose to use it as a developmental league...
