Stadium Dimensions

Hi all,

All my major league stadiums have the same dimensions and wall heights. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

Hi richko,

You can edit your ballparks at the ballpark editor manually,
OOTP Baseball Manual - Options and Ballpark

or download the real park images/park dimensions from the link below.
OOTP Ballparks
(Read the instruction before you download them!)

Also, stadium dimensions and wall heights have no bearing on stats in OOTP. They are purely cosmetic. Figured I'd throw that out there.

So if I built a stadium with 450 ft power alleys and 600 ft to center field, I should expect the same stats as if I had a stadium the size of a little league field ?

Ballpark dimensions are purely cosmetic! It's the ballpark factors that actually influence the game engine. That is, making a ballpark with a 500-foot center field won't make it any harder to hit home runs to center if the home run factors are still 1.000.

taken word for word from... OOTP Baseball Manual - Park Profile
