Ask AI to Set Up ORG

How effective is it to ask the AI to set up my complete Org?

Might there be problems that result from this?

Can a person set things up better?

Or, what about having the AI set up my Minor Leagues for me?

Would that be a good idea?

Some people do that, some don't. A lot depends on how much you want to control. Myself, I like to over-see everything.

The thing to do is test various ways and see which suits you best.

I ask the AI to set up my minor leagues. I then go through and shuffle a few people around. Sometimes a lot of people.

Since I play with ghost players and cut non-prospects, I don't usually have more than 50 players in my minors. I also prefer playing with only three levels of minor leagues to keep the micro-management more reasonable.

I ran into problems in a few leagues where Ask AI to set up ORG caused the AI to release players (sometimes top prospects) for no good reason. It does not seem to happen every time or in every league, so YMMV. Because of that, I never use this button any more, but if you choose to do so, just be prepared to re-add players back to the team if you need to.

The AI can set up an organization at least as well as an average owner. The computer has its own priorities and style, so its decisions are going to be different than a human's.

As an online league Commissioner, I sometimes have to instruct the AI to set up an organization which has been neglected for a little while. Generally, the results are at least as good as what a human owner would do.

To copy someone else's diagram:

human management > computer management > letting a team sit unchanged
