No Financials for "New 2009 ML Game" ??

Where can I turn of the financials for a "New 2009 Major League Game"?
I want to play without those restrictions.
I can't find it. More and more I think it's simply impossible.

I can turn of all financials in a fictional league only.

Is that correct?

You should be able to uncheck the "Enable financials" option in the Rules page of league setup. You have to a commissioner to do this.

Game dropdown menu > Game Setup > League Setup > Rules. You'll have to wait until after the 2009 season to disable Financials however.

Really? I'm able to do it at start up. Is that because I'm still running a pre-release version? If so, I guess I better get caught up if I'm going to post on this stuff.

Now it's 01.01.2010.

Unfortunately the "Financial System - Enable Box" is checked.
Moreover it's not activated, so I can't put away the tick.

You have to sim to the start of preseason for 2010. That is when it is possible to make changes to various rules.
