Is this possible?

I'm looking to try to do a kind of fictional/historical hybrid. I'd like to start a league in late 80's with the real players and an inaugural draft with other real players entering league through a draft when they are supposed to. (i.e. eventually I'll see Pujols) But I'd also like to have 32 teams in the league right away. I realize that some fictional players would have to be generated to do this just to be able to fill the rosters and I'm okay with that. It seems like when I load the database, it automatically locks me into a historical setup.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Create a new historical game. Once the league is created, go to the league setup screen and edit the league structure. Create the teams you want there. You'll probably have to fill the new teams with fictional players.

Edit - Don't forget to generate a new schedule whenever you create or remove teams!
