Stupid Quote Question

I have seen many reponses that include a portion of a quote from a previous post. God I feel dumb but, how do you do that?

I asked the same question not long ago myself, along with many others, so I hope you'll continue to ask whenever you feel the need.

If you look to the bottom right of this post, you will see a rectangular "Quote" button (with two others next to it). Just click on the "Quote" and it will take you to the reply thread with the quote already set up and you can reply underneath it.

How then do you do multiple quotes from different posters on your 1 reply post? Thanks.

at that point you have to do it manually, copy the post, type {QUOTE} paste info {/QUOTE} instead of pointy brackets just use square ones.

Use the Multiquote box. It's the one right next to the Quote box, with a " and a + on it. You can multiquote as many as you want, and they will appear in the order you click the multiquote box, then, on the LAST one you want quoted, click the regular quote box. So, if you wanted to quote 2 posts, click the multiquote box on the first one, and the plain Quote box on the second. If you want to quote 5, then click the multiquote box in the order you want them for the first 4, then click the plain Quote box for the fifth.

want to.
OFG - I find that to be a complete abuse of quoting power.
