First, make sure that they have no days remaining to heal or recover and the DL time has expired.
You can right-click on the player name and then choose transactions and which action you want to take. If you are putting him back on the major league roster, you have to make sure there's a place for him. For example, if you have 25 men on a 25-man roster, you'll going to have to move someone down to the minors to make room for him. If you also use the secondary 40-man roster, check to see if there's room there. He should already be on that list if he was playing with a major league contract at the time of the injury. If not, same thing. You have to make room there.
