New Players do not have a Picture

I'm now to the point of having my first draft. Unfortunately, when you click on the players, they all have a grayed out picture, one is not being generated.

I downloaded the add on for pictures for the ML players and that worked quite well - nicely done. However, it would be nice for the new upcoming players to have a picture generated.

I think this is supposed to be done so I must have something turned off. I used the standard MLB 2009 off the main menu.

Any help would be appreciated.

They won't have a picture in the amateur draft, IIRC. You need to wait for them to get drafted and be on a team somewhere.

You can see your picture options in the Game dropdown menu > Game Setup > Player & Picture Options screen.

What about if you have it set to create pictures "On Demand"? Wouldn't that work? N00b here, just trying to help.

On demand

IIRC that will work as it creates a pic for them when you first view them.

Yep, that will do it. I have my league set to that, and at the draft I get players with pictures in the default white jersey, blue hat uniform (until they get drafted, that is).

I couldn't get any pictures up either. Then I changed my screen over to 32-bit color (from 16-bit) and I was able to generate player pictures.

A caveat: I play only in fictional leagues so I'm not sure if the situation is the same as yours.
