Simulation Speed
I'm looking to sim ahead approximately 20 years in a feeder league test run. I know you can do the Auto-Play option, but that takes an awfully long time. Is there any other way to sim ahead that would be faster? Thanks in advance for replies.

Easy. Put your manager on vacation. Go to manager, options, go on vacation. Then click the baseball symbol at the top and autoplay to date x. Pick whatever year you would like. 20 seasons may take a few hours depending on the speed of your computer and how many teams you are running it on.

That was essentially what I was doing, except I was simming in commisioner mode. It's just taking a long time. I was hoping there was a faster alternative. Thanks for the help and the quick reply.
P.S.- While I'm here, I have a question about feeder leagues for anyone who can answer. While setting them up, I set up 5 college feeder leagues and 3 high school feeder leagues. I did this because I didn't want to go through each league and press add team a hundred times. Is this the proper way to go about this? Does this negatively affect simulation speed? For the simming, go to OOTP Preferences. Where it says Auto-play Display, change it to Simple Dialog. That significantly increases sim time in most cases.

Make sure you have all the unnecessary boxes unchecked as well, unless there's any area you want to have it collecting. No game logs, box scores, replays, messages, etc..

Unfortunately no. It's just a matter of a ton of players beeing tracked, not the organization of the feeder leagues. The easy thing to do for a league like this is leave it on overnight and when you wake up, it should be done getting through 20 years or so. Also if you have the almanac and don't care about it, turn it off. It is off by default though.
