Some simple questions from a new player (saving, scouting...)

1) I think I want to turn scouting off. The difference between the real and the scouted is just too big, not to mention that it's very hard to sign a good scout, as the game throws you a random one in the beginning and there are no good available personnel around till the end of the year.

But, I noticed when you turn it off, it basically gets rid of that aspect of the game, scouting director and all. I'm worried, do you also stop getting "I have found someone in Australia!" news updates? Those stop coming?

2) Is there a way to save different instances of the same game? I am a paranoid saver and usually at least have a 5 rolling save system. However, so far I can't seem to do anything but just overwrite over and over again.

3) What is the process of providing good talent for the amateur draft? I usually do 25 rounds (make players for 30), but I barely get one full page of 75+ potentials. That seems awfully low.

I'll try my best to answer these for you

1) By turning scouting off you see true ratings. And, yes as far as I know, you will not find international talent (you don't have a scout).

2) I don't know. I don't do that. But you could either a) copy you league folder and rename it or b) zip it up and unzip when you want to convert back to that version of the league

3) Here's the what I do (and I'm probably one of the few people that would) I use extensive real life College and High School feeder teams this provides me with way more talent than the league needs and way more players than it needs. In this format you end up with talented players than never get a shot but could probably succeed at the highest level, however, its league-wide.
