Is there a way to calm down the AIs lineup selections?
I've noticed amazing differences between my lineups vs LHs and RHs.
Now, I completely understand teams do switch up, I watch enough of the sport. They swap a player here or there, drop someone down in the lineup. But goddamn, for some reason my AI has a field day with my lineups. I see a 2nd Utility player against righters be a starter against leftys. Players playing difference positions, even players who aren't even on the depth chart against one is a starter against the other. The only thing I can think I'm doing to make this happen is that I DO like my versatile players, most of my players can play different positions. But still, is there a way to "lock" positions or anything? |

Control the lineups yourself. That's the only way. What you can't fix is what the AI does with lineups for the other teams. However, if you watch carefully enough, you will see the AI make lineup adjustments over the course of a season (usually once a week), so that as a general rule the guys who should be getting the ABs are getting them.

Yes there is. (sort of)
From a player's profile page => Action => Set Game Strategy There under "Depth Chart Settings" is a "Force Start" This will force the AI to start the palyer at the chosen position..... which is great...... If the player is to be a starter. If he is a back-up then this option does not help. (This option was designed for managing the minors and forcing experience, in a position, onto a player) |
