Do Players Ever Die?

I've completed about 20 seasons now and have a number of retired players, a few approaching 60... but I've not seen anyone show up as deceased. Does this ever happen?

Sorry if this has been asked before... I did try to search the forum first... but didn't see a thread on it.

thx sj

They're all immortals waiting for the "quickening" to lose their heads.

I always figured that the guys who simmed out a hundred years worth of games, at some point had retiree lists that were bigger than the player roster.

In my 76 year v9 league, I have 13,886 retired players. The game is set to delete those who don't make MLB.
