online league compatability

hey guys, "newb" here. im thinking about buying the game to join an online league, but was wondering whether it mattered if you have a mac or pc version to do with league file importing/exporting. do all members of a league need to be running on the same system, or will my mac version be compatible with a commish's pc version?

Only the game version/patch must be the same it doesn't matter sbout the system it runs on.
