Splits?

I'm confused as to how to view splits. I go to the player profile and click on the Batting Stats tab. Then, click the Splits drop-down and select vs. L or vs. R - but all of these numbers are 0. Can I view splits from prior years, or is it only from years simmed in OOTP?

Only years simmed in OOTP will show splits.
