international scouting

I've asked this before, but have never gotten a viable answer. How do you send your scout to find international prospects?

I can't tell how you actually order your scout overseas. However in my current 2009 MLB game my scout has told me about overseas prospects. Usually several weeks into the season. Rarely is there anything to get exited about though.

I've not got anything fancy set for scouting, just the defaults.

I don't believe you do anymore, it just automatically happens. Chances of finding good players go up with more money invested in international scouting.

yeah, I am getting players now. The first time i had it i set it at 30% (league average at 20%) and got no one all year, yet so far I've had 3 players found in 3 months, again at 30%. weird how it didn't work before...

Yea I just got to the end of my first season and my scout finally found 1 person from Brazil who is only 1/2 a star potential rating, so no go there he can stay in Brazil.

For some reason all I've gotten are 1/2 star prospects from my scout in 2 1/2 seasons in my game. One of them is actually progressing through my minors. The other 2 or 3 guys haven't done anything.
