Creating a Hall of Fame Leauge, BBM vs OOTP?

Hello Baseball fans. I really need your opinions. I have been researching for a great baseball sim game mainly to recreate historical games and have narrowed it down to BBM or OOTP.

What I want to do is create my own leauge using ONLY the current HOF players from Cooperstown. I would like to put these players in a "pool" and draft them. I would have about 4 teams from the AL and 4 from the NL, with the undrafted players used a free agents. (Im not sure how the farm system would work though?) I would like to play maybe four or five seasons.

first, is this even possible to do with OOTP and if so is it farily easly. Do you need to download the rosters from a third party on can you create it within the game? Second, which game would you think is less comanding on my time, more simplistic and easier to create your own fantasy leauges?

I can't compare the two, but it is completely possible in OOTP and there is already a Hall of Fame roster available in the mod forum.

Check out this website. It is padresfan site with every mod/ballpark/template that you can play with. I used to play bbm '08 and I switched to ootp 9 because the customization and appearance was far better than bbm. i now have ootpX and will never go back.
