First time poster-- Can someone tell me what i'm doing wrong?? I'm trying to set up the 2009 season with current rosters.. Do i have to be in commish mode to force all the trades to get it to the up to date rosters? I'm ok with that, but i cant get it set without all the fictional players to fill up the minors. What am i missing?? If you could help i would really appreciate it. I you could be reallly specific i would appreciate that also. I have to tried this 100 times already. Thanks for any assistance.

Need to get a better idea of what you are trying to do. Since the game comes with a 2009 MLB game with complete rosters, are you trying to create your own version from scratch? Modify the included game in some way? Something else?

From the initial main OOTP X screen, you should choose to create 2009 quickstart game (or something like that). It should create a game that starts just before Opening Day including 90% of the correct minor league players. You would manually have to sim ahead and make all of the transactions yourself if you wanted to start sometime after that, like in August for example.
There is not a mod or quickstart that I know of that starts after Opening Day. Does that answer your question?
