Not being too bright, I allowed the computer to set up my organization in a fictional league, and then forgot to check what it had done. We,, I now have a few prospects on waivers that have been claimed by other teams. I received a message telling me I have one day to remove the players from waivers before the claim goes through, but I seem to be able to do nothing with these guys other than trade them. I can't get them onto my 40 man roster (after I make room) and I can't demote them to the minors (it says they need to clear waivers first), and I can't get them off waivers. Any suggestions?

Have you tried right clicking on the player and hitting "Transactions" -> "Remove from Waivers"?

sign on as commissioner in managers optiond and take them out of waivers. Then uncheck commissioner.
