Scouting and Imports Questions

1. What is the difference between the OSA ratings and the franchise scouts ratings for each player? For example, Justin Smoak's OSA ratings are quite different from Joe Johnson's ratings... Which is/are more realistic for purposes of forecasting the value of the player?

2. Is there a database out there that will import the Real Life MLB 2009 draft class?

I am sure I will have more questions, but thanks for any insight in advance!

3. How can I select a player development report to upload in an online league so that GMs can see their player development like they could in 6.5?

1) OSA is just a generic scouting assessment. It is not considered very accurate most of the time. But it does give you a second opinion anyway. Whether you choose to listen or not is up to you.

2) I do not know of any mods or databases that have the real 2009 draft class. Rosters mods are pretty minimal now that the game comes with the MLB roster set.

I can't answer 3. Not my cup of tea.
