trading draft picks

I have an upcoming draft...

is it possible to trade an AI managed team a draft pick? If so, how do I do this? What screen do i use? How do I propose a trade for another team's draft pick?

You use the same trade screen as you would players - "Propose A Trade".

There are drop down menus right below where you enter players and cash to add in draft picks.

Oh, and this is assuming you have draft pick trading enabled in the League Setup->Rules screen, of course

ok - I enabled the trades in the rules - but there isn't an option in the dropdown menu, so I must be missing something obvious here (I am such a noob)

the dropdowns are for the 25 man roster; 40 man roster; minor leagues teams; DL; players on waivers' players on the block... but nothing for draft picks...

sorry to be so dense...

At the risk of sounding contrarian, I'm not sure the advice here is quite correct. AFAIK, the option in League setup is whether or not to allow you to trade recent draftees (meaning players that you just drafted), not draft picks (meaning your slot in the drafting process). I don't believe there is any way in OOTP to trade away draft picks (meaning the latter). Hope that adds clarity and not confusion.

I know the option was there in previous versions. However I setup my league this time to not allow it. Now I'm wondering if it has been removed.

The draft pick trading is fifth option down from the trade rules section.(this is from an ootp X game)

Also be aware that you cannot trade draft picks once the draft has started.

Oops.

I should have checked a league that had the draft turned on.
