Player Just Coming Off DL
I have a question. It is May 2, 1986 in my Fictional League. I have a guy that just came off the DL today; he has been on the DL since the last week of spring training. There is no option of sending him out for a rehab assignment. Will it still take him some time to get his hitting stroke back or will he automatically be normal as if he had just come off a rehab assignment?
Thanks for your help. Bum |

OOTP does not have rehab assignments. I just put the players back into the lineups and I have not noticed any "rust". I don't think the game has rehab built in because most players refuse an assignment to a minor league squad if they are already on the 25 man roster.

Also, in the real world, players are sent on rehab assignment while on the DL. Once reinstated from the DL, they cannot be sent to the minors for rehab assignments.
