Does OOTP 10 use the same names files?

I am very picky about the names generated in my leagues and have created an extensive names/fnames txt file for use in OOTP 9.

Does v10 support the same file?

Can I use the V9 names.txt and fnames.txt files?

I have not yet purchased v10 and wont until I know the answer to the question. I am sure it may seem silly to some, but its vital to my enjoyment of the game and would just stick with v9 if the files are incompatible.

Is there anything to prevent you from downloading the demo and trying it? I don't think there's any prohibition with regard to mods during the demo period. Maybe that's worth a try. Or you can wait for the complete patch list, in the event that any changes were implemented that may affect the names file.

I've been working with Names, Ethnicities and Nations lately. There's no difference in the file layouts at all.

In fact, if I'm wrong (and I don't think I am) PM me and I will personally convert your name files to help you out. I can guarantee that I can convert what you have in the case that it didn't work.
