Expansion Draft roster question

Was just wondering, if you do an expansion draft in OOTP are all the players you draft added directly on to your 40 man roster, even if they were minor leaguers at the time you draft them? Or do the minor leaguers go into your minor league system and not on the 40 man?

I'm almost certain that they will all be on the 40-man roster, though I've never specifically checked at the time.

I was afraid of that, but I was hoping if I picked a kid out of A ball for example, that I could put him on my A ball team without having to get him through waivers.

Yeah, I think that is what happens: the expansion teams put a lot of guys thru waivers pretty quickly. And, of course, none or virtually none of them get picked up off waivers. But the chances of losing any that way are pretty low.
