OOTP 10 compatible with Windows 7?

I'd like to purchase OOTP 10, but am running Windows 7. Is OOTP 10 compatible with Windows 7?

I just bought a new Dell with Windows 7. Should I just stick to OOTP 8 or am I ok with OOTP X?

i am not a computer genius, so if it's a technical solution I'll just stick to what I know. Thanks.
