Crazy Changes in Potential
I simulated one season, then expanded the league. I took over one of the expansion clubs.
In the exp. draft, I took a stud prospect with one of my first picks. I'll list what happened and see if you can explain. My scouting director gave him 5 stars on 10-30-09 The same scouting director only gave him 2 stars on 1-1-10 He didn't play a game, yet his numbers dropped accross the board. The same thing happened for a few other guys. Does this happen alot? If so, how could you ever really know what a prospects stats were? |

In summary: ****e happens. Your scouting director miscouted the guy. Or, he miscouted and the new ratings aren't his real ratings and the old ones are. Or he's even better. Or he is even worse. That is the hazard of using scouts.
