Maybe I'm going to sound like a complete newbie, but what are these widgets all about and what do they do exactly??

In OOTP X, the widgets are a different way to watch and play out your games where you can customize your display to contain what you want to see. You can change the field size or toggle on/off certain stats box to help you manage the game better. If you sim, then widgets are not pertinent for you.

Let me know if that did not answer your question.

I do play all my games out so that does answer my question. I kind of like the screen as it is now, I wonder what else people like to look at during a game.

I just moved this from tech support. I'm not mad or anything, but please try to keep questions that aren't really problems to the general or new to game boards. The tech support board is more for people having some kind of problem running the game.
