SP's Stamina

i'm new to the game and I'm playing with the NY Yankees and Phil Hughes stamina in 2009 is showing as 3. It is just baffling me. in the 2008 season he pitched 196 innings. any clue as to why this happened????

thanks,

What is the 3 out of ? 3 out of 5 ? 3 out of 10 ? I only play with fictional players.

Also, Hughes did not pitch anywhere near 196 innings in 2008. He had 6.2 IP at class A, 29 IP in AAA, and 34 IP in the Major Leagues - 69.2 IP for the whole year...and he had about 105 IP in 2009 (minors and majors combined).

I'd suggest first off, don't get overly worried about real players and their ratings. I'm not saying the hard working roster set makers don't do a fine job - but, they aren't perfect. Sometimes some guys just won't be the same.

All in all, they are very close - but; certainly sometimes they may be off.

Also - Was he a 3/100 in '08 for you ? Possibly an injury or drop-off ? Maybe you changed scouts & the new one sees him differently ? ... (Just tossin' crap against the wall here).

From what I understand, he shouldn't throw (or be asked to) that many innings with a 3/100. It seems about 25/100 with a minimum of 3 decent pitches is what you're looking for in a starter.

Yeah. I wouldn't sweat it. It was probably low because he hasn't played a full season ever. Just edit it higher. I think most of us would agree it could be higher.
