player development

Does anybody else have problems with sudden and precipitus drops in prospect ratings? At the end of 1 season they're rated 80 potential, the beggining of the next they're 20 potential. That sort of a drop doesnt make much sense. I've got a very good scout and have 10 mill i year spent on scouting. Whats the deal?

Your scout may be wrong and after seeing them play more, updated their potential. Maybe they really are that bad. Most likely the potential is somewhere in between the two extremes. Not much I can say other than change happens.
