The MLB Dreams league is looking for new GMs to complete our league. We originally started with 2006 rosters and are about to start the 2019 season. We have a very active forum, and a strong core of owners, and are looking for some new owners to fill out the league. Some teams have gone quite a while without owners since new OOTP 8 owners became hard to find after OOTP 9 came out. We've made the leap to X now, so hopefully we'll get filled up pretty quick.

We play with a AA level winter league so you can send prospects there for extra seasoning.

Current Openings:

Boston Red Sox (86-76, 2nd place, 3 GB)
They have the best pitcher of the game, who is the second coming of Nolan Ryan. Had the longest active playoffs streak in the majors (12 years) until being dethroned last year. Great team for a GM who wants to win now, but the team is starting to get old.

Colorado Rockies (64-98, 5th place, 37 GB).
The Rockies have one of the best young "1-2 punches" in baseball on top of their rotation, but they have no offense to back them up. They need a GM willing to work with the team from scratch.

St. Louis Cardinals (86-76, 3rd place, 16 GB).
The Cardinals are generally a strong team who pop up in the playoffs from time to time. The team could go either way as far as rebuilding/competing. It's up to the GM who takes them.

Florida Marlins (72-90, 4th place, 24 GB).
The team is on the rebound after some nasty 100+ loss finishes. However, they need more work to compete with the top two NL East teams.

New York Mets (60-102, 5th place, 36 GB).
The Mets as a franchise have lost all the luster associated with the brand. They are generally old and ineffective, and need someone who loves them to take over and make them great again. On the plus side, so many losing seasons means lots of good draft positions.

Baltimore Orioles (77-85, 5th place, 12 GB).
Probably the closest team to competition of all the bad ones. Signed 3 good pitchers this offseason, and have a number of outstanding young position players moving up through the high minors. The AL East is a fairly winnable division right now.

Oakland Athletics (56-106, 4th place, 48 GB).
The old GM came in, started a rebuild, and then quit, leaving the team in disarray. The team is much better than their record suggests, but they still need some building before they can compete.

Please note that new GMs will have their trades reviewed for one season to make sure nothing super lopsided happens. We are very lenient though.

great league sims sometimes even pick up the pace after the trade deadline. We try to really move things along to keep interest going. Come join in and fill out our league. I'm looking to finally have my Pirates not be bounced in the first round.

Still trying to fill this league out. Great league with a fun bunch of owners. Sox are still open right now with the best pitcher in the league. some other rebuild projects, but almost every team has some good older players or younger specs to build around. Get in now and FA is just around the corner.
