Pioneers of the Diamond Fictional League Seeks Owners

The Pioneers of the Diamond has officially moved to version OOTPX and has vacant teams at all levels of development.
The POTD is a fictional 28 team league that has 23 game years in its history. We have a great core of owners, many of them original. We use a hard cap and the 40 man roster but no DH.

Orlando Rum Runners - An up and coming team with a few of the best young players in the game. A steady and involved hand needed to bring them into contention

Vermont Emperor Penguins - Perennial champion, still packed with great players but nearing decision time - retool or rebuild?

Honolulu High Life - Stellar pitching and some good hitters sprinkled in their line up. A team with a weak farm system hitting it's stride.

Filled the final spot....however,

October means playoff baseball..it also means that a couple GMs in our league have decided they can't afford the time commitment of playing in a OOTP league...so that means we have two new openings!

I'd recommend the POTD. It was my first in OOTP and with the conversion to X we've picked up some good new blood. For all you history nuts as well, the league goes back quite a long way.

Wow. This was my last league before dropping all OOTP leagues in 2005. I used to be the Alcatraz Jail Break.

Jason left a few years back - not entirely sure why to be honest - Mike, left alone with the Comish responsibilities but with so much on his plate IRL, had to resign - I took up the responsibility about the time we switched from 6.5. We lost some GMs but a many remained...you will remember allot of them!
