Hello, I just wanted to let everyone know of a new league I am starting.

About me, I have been using OOTP since v3 and have been in leagues since v5. I am a former co-founder of the UMBL (Upper Management Baseball League) which just folded this year after 5+ years.

About my league. It is nothing new really, just like any other historical league out there looking to go back to the past and relive some of the glory days of the game. The league will be starting in 1901 and working its way back towards real life present day.

Why 1901? Two reasons really:

1. Basically, from 1901 and on, that is when many of the teams that we know about and most remember came into existence.
2. I am looking to have the league around for many seasons and want to avoid having fictional players in the league.

Who am I looking for as a GM?

• I am looking for people who are dedicated and don't jump around. I want basically what most leagues want, again no difference there, low turnover and a quality bunch of people that can be together a long time so we can help build a strong and enjoyable league.
• People who don't like to have a lot of leagues. Only a select few so they maintain their interest and activity.
• Beginners are welcome. I already have a nice bunch of former UMBL'ers to start the league off and many of which would be more than willing to help someone, as would I.

This should be a great league. Brian helped me create the UMBL that ran for more than 5 years. Dedicated and honest commish who will run the league the right way.
