AHIBA Reopening

After a 2 year hiatus the long running AHIBA league is open. We have restarted in OOTPX. We are currently full but accepting applicants to our waiting list for future expansion or GM replacement. The AHIBA league started in the mid 90s until about 2 years ago. We started on front page sports, then moved to high heat baseball ,and now through several versions of OOTP.

We finished spring training and are about to start our first regular season. Coming soon- games simmed live online. We are full but you can get on the waiting list for expansion. We still need league reporters are player agents.

Honolulu Tsunami are available due to the current GMs lack of involment.

We aren't too strict on participation- but you need to do your exports and put players on the DL. Writing is not required but it would be great to get some writers in the league.

5 of the 6 expansion teams filled. Monday is the amateur draft and then I will be creating the new teams and restructuring the league. If you want in there is 1 slot open. Time is runnig out before we start season #2.

New structure will be 2 leagues with 2 divisions of 5-a total of 20 teams. Unless we get more interest this is what we will go with for season 2.

New designed website for season 2 and a great batch of new GMs. The League is really starting to come together. We only lost 1 of the original 14 owners and are adding 6 more shortly. If your a dedicated GM that is looking for a stable league that will be here to stay- check us out!

We sim Mon-Wed-Fri 7 days a week. Great bunch of owners and getting more active each week.

*** We are currently full but feel free to get on our waiting list as openings to happen and we are looking to expand depending on league interest. we expanded 6 teams in season 2 and most likely will add another 4 for 2011.

We are finishing up season 2 and are currently full (including season 2 expansion). We started with 14 teams and expanded to 20 in season 2. The season should be ending on 1/25/10 and we will be looking to expand some more. Our goal is 30 teams and we will expand eaxch season until we get that. FYI- There is no expansion draft since we are only 2 seasons old. New teams will be created with new players for those teams. In year 1 only the expansion team does not participate in the amateur draft but can sign free agents. Expansion team will be added after the amateur draft and are 100% customizable by the new GM (City, team names, minors, logos, and unis). We are definately expanding in season 3- 4-10 teams depending on interest. Check us out and get on the waiting list. www.ahiba3.com. Season 2 ends 1/25/10 - then about a month of playoffs. The new teams will be added after the amateur draft (which takes place at the end of the season). FYI - we don't have an expansion draft- new teams will be added with players. Currently a 20 team fictional league. Great bunch of guys. You don't need the game and we are flexible.
