# of Teams: All 30 MLB teams plus AAA, AA, A, AFL, and NPB (Japan)
Export Deadlines Days And Times: Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday
Special Rules & Settings: Scouts/coaches disabled, 1-10 ratings scale

The Sabermetric Baseball Sim (SBS-X) is an OOTP X historical league that began with the 2001 season in July 2009. This is an extremely active league with over 2,500 message board posts in the league's short existence, lots of owner participation, and a format heavily based around writing and news articles. Our website is still a work in progress, but you can already tell it is one of the best OOTP sites on the net!

Here's some of the unique things about the league you should know:
*There is a participation points system to reward owner participation. The rewards are extremely limited in scope and based around non-arbitrary real life statistics. However, I do realize that leagues with any participation points at all are not for some people.
*Coaches and scouts are disabled. Injury frequencies are set to Low.
*There is a $125 million salary cap. We are also using real life salaries, so some teams do have to work around that.

The following teams are available due to inactive owners (Updated 02/28/10):
Chicago Cubs
Oakland Athletics
San Francisco Giants
Seattle Mariners

*The full name you'd like displayed in the league file
*The date of birth you'd like displayed in the league file
*Your AIM username (if you have one)
*Top 3-5 preferences of available teams

Great league, well run and kept up on. The league has been going for two seasons and is heading into Season #3... I own the back-to-back defending champion Minnesota Twins and am wondering when someone is going to step up and take me down... will it be you?? :P

This is a very solid league with an outstanding commish.

Just starting the third season and things have been nothing but smooth. Can't ask for anything more.

Plus, the teams available (only 6) give u some great options....first place Indians? Both NY teams.

Or the O's, where you might be able to compete with the Twins and the above mentioned Indians and Yanks for the Wild Card, cuz I got the AL Central sewn up....the Twinkies just don't know it yet.
