We have just finished our 1986 season and have converted to OOTP X for the upcoming 1987 season. We have 2 teams available, Philly and Houston.

Chicago White Sox have just come available, so we now have 3 teams open. Houston and Philly are the other 2.

We just had free agents file in our 1986 offseason, so now is a prime opportunity to join the league!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that this is a great league. The commissioner communicates a lot, we have a solid core of owners, and exports are always timely. There aren't many leagues set in the 80's so if you want to get in you better act soon!

Houston is definitely in need of some TLC but Glenn Davis and Mike Scott provide reason for optimism.

Philly is another team that needs a good owner but has a place to start with Von Hayes and Pete Incaviglia.

The White Sox were surrendered by a long-time owner who took care of them and they are poised for a return to contention following a recent slip (they made the playoffs two seasons ago). They have a promising core of pitching with Doug Drabek, Floyd Bannister, and Scott Bankhead while Carlton Fisk, Harold Baines, and Ron Kittle lead the hitting attack.

Eric Davis 150+ games two years in a row...injuries off? My favorite player ever; oh, how I wished he could ever survive for that many games!

Do you have a link where I could view the league rules? Obviously based on the start of my post, in a league of real players I would prefer the Reds but in general I really like baseball so...

im a little confused.. you said that you converted to X but in your league rules it states "The USBL will use OOTP version 9.2.13. We will not be upgrading to OOTP10 anytime soon."

We still have openings in our Modern League however. We just finished the 2010 season so now is a good time to jump on board. Teams open are:
