eMLB converts to OOTP X - Will have openings in Nippon Leagues!
![]() Soon to be decade old league converts to OOTP X! Electronic Major League Baseball, affectionately known as eMLB, a league that has been running successfully since July 19, 2000, has finished up its 19th season, and heads into it's 20th Anniversary season with 29 of its 30 owners. The great thing is that 7 people who were in this league on Day 1 over 9 years ago are still here! The Washington Nationals just hired Nolan Bryant from Tohoku of the eMLB Nippon Leagues, established the previous season when eMLB Commissioner James "LB" LeBlond recognized that there were people on the waiting list more than a year that still wanted to join, and the list was 17 deep! eMLB anticipates that there will be 2-3 individuals who will no longer remain with the Nippon Leagues, and we'll be looking to fill them up with talented GMs who want a challenge. eMLB is a proud member of Total Sports World What to expect in eMLB: - A great time - A dedicated Commissioner who absolutely LOVES what he does. If anyone knew the hours invested reconstructing eMLB History since we weren't always an OOTP League (Been OOTP since '03), you'd think I'm nuts. - A challenge with additional rules to make eMLB a real thinker's/planner's experience - Scouts and Coaches are on. If you don't like that, don't apply. - A constant proactive environment - A couple powerhouse teams that need to be dethroned. You got the skill to do it? - The support of a great community like Total Sports World - Sim schedule: Regular season - 2 times/week, Offseason - Daily, but very methodical What eMLB would expect of you: - We don't ask this to be your only league, but we ask that you are absolutely serious about joining us if you sign up. eMLB doesn't tolerate inactivity, and has been around and earned the notoriety to be selective on who it brings aboard. - Passion. Those in eMLB are very passionate about baseball. They enjoy the challenge. - Patience. eMLB has been around long enough, and there's rarely an opening. If there's no room, be patient and learn what makes eMLB such a unique experience. Also, you don't get into the Bigs directly anymore, having a 12-GM "minor" league in the Nippon Leagues to learn the league. - Activity. As said earlier, it can't be stressed how important it is for you to be active. You must be willing to invest the time if you are willing to compete. - Enjoy a more complex league. eMLB was always intended to be more than what you could get out of the game it was used in (High Heat, OOTP). Interested? Contact LB for more information. Send an e-mail to the eMLB Commissioner's Office, with a little bit about your background in online leagues, and what your expectations are in joining a league like eMLB. eMLB Baseball: Excellence in Online Entertainment Since 2000!

Friendly bump - I'm starting to fill the 5 spots open in our Nippon "minor" leagues. Apparently some migration issues my new server caused cost me many who are new to eMLB. I've still got all my long-termers, and only lost 1 in the Bigs this year, the first time in 15 RL months since I replaced someone.
