The United League, a 12-team alternate history league using historical players and OOTPX has an opening. The league dates from 2003 and is entering its 21st season with a stable group of active GMs and good parity (6 different World Series winners in last 6 seasons). The league sims every 4-5 days and each sim covers a half-month.

The open team, the Detroit Griffins, came within a game of the World Series last season, and returns a solid core that includes Sandy Koufax, Reggie Jackson, Carl Yastrzemski, Pedro Ramos, Dick Allen, and youngsters Bobby Bonds and Jerry Reuss.
