Mac License problem - 10.4.31
I've had to unlicense and relicense the game twice since I patched (I've gotten a message in game on the opening screen telling me to do this). The license works and the game works after I relicense, so this isn't game breaking but it is annoying.
I'm running Mac OSX 10.6.1.

I would have to assume that this is a problem that is localized to your copy of the game, since there doesn't seem to be a big problem with licensing for Mac users at this point. Unfortunately, I don't know enough to tell you what the solution is. I can only provide some info.
If you know how to find hidden files on your Mac, you can find one or two hidden "license.txt" files (each of which will begin with a "." which is what makes them hidden) in the OOTP Baseball 10 folder in Documents. I do not know what these files are, but you could try trashing them while also unlicensing your game. You should also check the PISD site to make sure both your licenses are released. At that point you should be completely in demo mode, and you should be able to license and have the license stick. If that doesn't work, then you may need to hunt down PISDPaul on this forum and ask for assistance. Good luck! |
