Player expenses

A couple of teams in my league have noticed that their player expenses have a negative dollar amount during the off season. We are currently in January and the teams haven't released players. We cannot find any rhyme or reason on why this is happening. Any ideas guys? (our league financial page is linked below)

I am willing to take a look, but I don't see a link to your league at all.

AND once you flip into January, you can't see back to the previous years transactions without going to the almanac/history. AND any player released (even by running out of DFA time) that happen after the day of the last game of the WS will show up as expenses on the following season if they had ANY contract left (meaning that this was not the player's FA year).

AND yes... your league did have teams that released players... without digging any deeper than:

Los Angeles Angels: Released CF Carlos Beltran.

He was released on Wednesday, November 7th, 2012... and only played one year on a 2 year contract before being released...

02/12/2012 Signed a 2-year contract worth a total of $36,240,000 with the Los Angeles Angels organization.
05/20/2012 Hits his 300th career Major League Baseball home run!
09/02/2012 Injured (strained oblique), out for 2 weeks.
11/07/2012 Released by the Los Angeles Angels.

Team Financial Report

Went through November and December's with only 3 players released, all of them on minor league deals.

I can't see anything... BUT the reports don't always have 100% of the information needed to research.

You CAN just edit out the player expenses if you think it's not legit.
