A couple of names I really like in my game:
Scott Scott plays second for me. He's a decent hitter but a borderline fielder, and I'm really sad that his bat won't play at first when I have to move him off the keystone. I have an A ball outfielder named Achille Lamborghini. He's 29 and has yet to hit .250 at any level, but he's got a job for me as long as he wants to keep playing. I intend to make him a coach when he retires. Also: my 5th starter Dylan "Virus" Scragg, AA pitching coach Don King, AAA utility infielder Randy Johnson (he's 5'9"!), Pittsburgh pitcher Phil Champagne, and Perez Perez, late owner of the Tuscon Dinosaurs. I swear that this one was computer-generated. Had to sign the player based on his name alone (and I assume that the "S" in his first name is silent):

I also assume his last name is kind of... inappropriate. I have gotten the classic Dick Head stuff a lot, but nothing like that.

Not as good as what some of you have posted, but saw this fellow in the news and had to do a double-take with his name. At first I thought it spelled "Tomato".
![]() Another thing is, there is another Amato playing for Cleveland named Jason who is pretty good as well. I have dubbed them the "Tomato Brothers". Unfortunately, I am not playing Cleveland so I don't follow them that close.

Look who I found on the waivers in my fictional universe. Nevermind the facegen, that was generated because of the name.
I'm thinking about giving him a nickname but there's nothing big about his bat.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but....
SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ![]() Must say I was a little surprised to see this one show up in the wonderful world of baseball. Also, hope I'm not out of line here, but I sorta borrowed an 1870s-style uniform I downloaded somewhere on here for this particular game..

I'm too lazy to do a screen shot, but I have a pitching prospect right now named Charles Norris. I thought about nicknaming him Chuck, but thought about the Mike/Michael Bolton scene from office space and decided that he doesn't wanna be Chuck Norris.

It's taken long-term injuries to Felix Hernandez, Javier Vazquez, Eric Hurley, and Chris Narveson, but there's a rotation spot open with the Mariners. EDIT: False alarm. I made it to the all-star break without Schit pitching, and in the meantime, my waiver claim for another rotation arm went through. Hopefully we'll have a Schitty September! When I saw the name i was thinking of the guy from Coach but thats Craig T Nelson...there was a Michael J Nelson from Mystery Science Theater 3000 and the shows abbreviation is MST3K so how about 1 of those 2. Coach or MST3K

There's a guy on another team named Jim Morrison.
I'm considering giving him a career-ending injury when he turns 27. |
