It's something you can play around with, if you want the adventure. You have to be the central point of the deal: get a player from one team, and use that player to get something from a third team. But there is no way to orchestrate that as a single deal, so there is obviously some risk involved.

I sort of puled it off in the past. Usually as a result of shopping a player and getting offered a good player but one that wouldn't have a spot on my team.
What I do is switch to the team that offered me that player and then shop him. If I see a player there listed that I could use I go back to my team and re-shop the player and make the trade. Then I shop the player I just traded for. I've only done this a few times but it has always worked. Granted it is not an elegant way of doing it but it is a workaround. |

A little ironic, but apparently the White Sox acquired Edwin Jackson in hopes of flipping him for Adam Dunn. The Nationals were expected to jump at that offer but aren't at the moment.
It appears the White Sox trade AI may be broken. |

Do you think Kenny Williams called up the Nats GM and said "I got this bad pitcher for you. He's 6 and 10 with a 5.16 ERA. He's leading the league in earned runs allowed and wild pitches. Do you want to give me Adam Dunn for him?"
