Mac User - OOTP keeps quitting randomly on me...

Anyone else have this problem? I would randomly be playing OOTP and then it would just exit..

Trash all your OOTP files, except for your saved games and any custom stuff you've downloaded, like photos, and then download and reinstall the game. Then move your saved games, etc., back into place and try again.

The game has been very stable on the Mac, but it is possible for something to get corrupted.

Check out this article and let me know if it sounds at all similar to your problem: Game crashes whenever you click on a button, menu or tab

Another possibility is a corrupt league file. Many times this will result in crashes that are repeatable, but sometimes the crashes are random. You can work for a while doing the same things with no problems and then suddenly the crash will occur even though you did nothing different. Have you tried playing with another league to test?

Since you're on a Mac I'm guessing you might not be using security software? If you are, you could try removing it and see if that helps. Disabling it doesn't always work.

Sometimes simply uninstalling and reinstalling helps, but usually not.

Well it's just random. It just randomly quits. For example I go to my starting pitcher's page by just clicking his name and it crashes and quits. I reboot and go to my starting pitcher's page again and it's as if nothing was ever wrong with it.

In that case, it sounds like you should try Steve's suggestion since the article I linked to was for a fix that only applied to a crash that was repeatable.
