Playoffs

I'm about to start the playoffs and had a few questions.

(1) In terms of the roster, I'm worried about other teams adding players because of the waiver period -- how do prevent this?

(2) I have an injured star who is supposed to come back about a week into the playoffs -- how do I make sure he gets on my roster? start with 24 and add when he's off the DL? Is the 25 man roster set?

(3) After the playoffs, when should I change my league to OOTP12. Right after the world series?

1. On 12 I believe this is fixed because any player claimed off of Waivers after Sep 1st? would not be eligible for a new teams playoff roster.

2. You will be able to add him between series. So if he comes back during Game 3 of the LDS series and you win in 4 then you would be able to add him prior to playing Game 1 of the LCS or WS. You would have to finish whichever series before adding him back.

3. It doesn't matter OOTP recommends converting right after WS, but I have imported to 12 on OD 3 days into the season ASG, Right before the playoffs and January in my 4 12 leagues with no problems.

2. So you can change rosters in between series in 11, I didn't think you could do that -- thats good news

I am not even sure 1 is an issue. i don;t think I have seen teams pick up players off of waivers after sept 1st. can ya post an example?

I knew it was a problem in prior versions. If I have a guy who is out of options but I don't want him on my playoff roster, how do I send him down -- does it let me?

you're also saying you can reset rosters after every round. I knew you couldn't do that in prior versions. That's great.

you would s5till have to waive/DFA him which sucks, but thats life.
Yes after each round you can redo your playoffs. In 12 they have to be eligible for the playoff roster.
