Problem licensing my game

When I enter my serial number to license my game I get the prompt "the game could not be activated, please try again." I recently changed computers and had to reinstall it to my new computer. Could you please explain to me why my serial number is not working, Thanks.
p.s I have made sure the # is correct and have even copied and pasted it and I still get the same reply. I have sent a email to the support dept but I havent heard back from them. Ticket ID: DJE-502855
