First Problem on iPad

I have been playing a lot on the iPad with not a single problem until today. I am playing the 68 Cardinals. I was playing against the 68 Reds, Bob Gibson going against Jim Maloney. It was a tough game and I was leading 3-1 after 7 innings. I turned the game off to eat a sandwich and then turned it on again only to find I had to play the game from the beginning again. I lost all 7 innings of game play. It was so upsetting I think I will just abandon the league. My heart was just not into starting that game over.
