Any way to get real minor leaguers/prospects?

I started up a 2003 season with the Mets, hoping to see Wright/Kazmir - but was sorely disappointed.

Is there any way to do this? Thanks in advance!

You can use the Gambo/Spritze database; this uses a player's professional debut date (i.e. draft date or first signing date) to import rather than ML debut date (like the dbase that comes with the game. It's probably on Padrefan's website or could be on a thread in the mod section somewhere.

Though I still think you will need ghost players or fictional players to fill up the minors even with this dbase.

Thanks! That would explain what I want to do, lol. I want Kazmir to be on the Mets, but of course...he made his ML debut with the Rays

I downloaded it, moved all the files into my c:/ootp11/data/stats folder, then tried to start it up again and it still didn't work.

All I want to do is start up a dynasty as if I'm playing OOTP 5, with Scott Kazmir in Cap City, David Wright in St. Lucie, and Jose Reyes in Norfolk. With all the rosters and everything the way they were to begin the 2004 season.

You have to start a new league with that database. Make sure the game is referring to the correct database. There are probably instructions on how to use it in the mod forums somewhere. Do a little searching; I know it will work.

Yes, start a whole new historical game and point to the folder that the Gambo/Spritze database is located in.
