1998 Rosters Odd player added

I am in a league that just started with 1998 rosters and I traded for a LF/CF player named Julio Arellano. I went to see how he played in some of my previous sims and I couldn't find him.

Oddly enough his history says "joined club 1/1/98" and he is a stud. Did the game just create him as a glitch of some sort?

I just checked with Julio's mother and she says he was most definitely a glitch.
