Ah, the memories!

Decided for the fun of it to start a historical league with 11, the 1977 season as the Tigers.

After about an hour setting things up the way I wanted them, started my first game... and was promptly lost in the memories.

Mark Fidrych was starting on opening day against KC at home, and I could just imagine the game as if it were announced by Ernie Harwell. In my mind's eye, I saw Trammell, Whitaker, LeFlore, and Thompson on the field and at bat. And of course, the Bird's antics...

Ah, the memories!

Markus and Andreas, thank you for making me feel young again and for the happy memories. You guys rock.

Isn't it great how this game can take you on a trip down memory lane? Baseball has a way of capturing pockets of time during our youth and the relationships that we felt we had with the players.
