My old league dissolved looking for new one...
I've been in online leagues for a very long time, I think my first was in 2003. But most of my leagues tend to fall apart because of commissioners going AWOL. I would like to be in a league that will have staying power.
My preferences would be... A recently started league or brand new A league with financial structure... perhaps a salary cap or monitors owner spending. I've seen GM's run franchise's into the ground with poor fiscal responsibility and it hurts the entire league. I kinda like leagues that move a little fast, atleast 3-4 sims a week. I would like a modern day realistic league, no historical leagues. let me know if interested, Thanks |

Finally, if by "modern day realistic league", you mean a fictional league with modern settings, no problem. If you mean a modern day MLB league, then I'm sorry to say that you won't likely find a league with staying power that doesn't at least restart itself regularly. It is nearly impossible for a modern day MLB online league to last, as new GMs almost always want to join a league that mirrors current real life as much as possible, and after a season or two of gameplay, an online league doesn't resemble much of anything to anyone. If your largest problem is that your leagues keep folding, I would personally recommend going with a fictional league that has been around for a while. I've been playing for years in one such league that has been around since 2003 and if anything, the added history only makes it more and more appealing as time goes on. Hey Staples, I run a league that's been around for 7 fictional seasons (1.5 years real time). Full Count Baseball
I have a few openings this offseason. If you're interested, let me know. |

Take a look at the UBE .... This is a new league with a small base to start. There is only going to be 8 teams to start, and the commish is dedicated to making it a league that will last.
