Draft Rounds for All in One 2010 Mod

Hi,

I've started setting up my new Universe using the All in One 2010 Mod. Normally for any league, the usual formula for Draft Rounds is 5 * the number of Minor Leagues. Example: If I had AAA, AA, A, SA, and RL, it would 25 Rounds with 30 rounds generated.

For the All in One 2010 Mod, with some many minor leagues, and with some teams having more than 1 team at one level, e.g. Single A, i'm having trouble figuring out what the rounds should actually be.

Could I please get some feedback on those that do use the 2010 All in One Mod, or any MOD for that matter than simulates MLB, how many Draft rounds you have found that works well with the MLB structure?

Thank you, and any feedback is appreciated.

The "All in One" package is just to do with logos and pictures/photos.
It provides the "Extras" for when you create a MLB universe.
It's not related to roster sizes or the like.

I assume you have created a MLB setup using the Quickstart or
the "New 2010 Major League Game" from the Main Screen.
If so the default number of rounds is 30.
But by default it creates enough players for 35 rounds.
This should be enough for the MLB setup.

Perfect...thanks.

I was just worried as some teams actually have multiple Rookie leagues so they actually have 7 minor league teams instead of 6.

So, I could figure out if the number rounds should be 30 (35 generated) or 35 (40 generated) or somewhere in between.

not if you are using realistic roster limits for minor league teams.

As discussed in another thread, I do 35/40 and have no issues.

PSU has said he thinks 35/36 may be the best because he likes the talent distribution better with less players generated.

But you're going to need 35 rounds if you do default set up.
