World Baseball Hierarchy: best DAMN online league, period!

Want something a bit different in a fictional league? The World Baseball Hierarchy (WBH) is a long-running promotion/relegation league with a unique structure based on the 2006 World Baseball Classic. It's a promotion/relegation structure in a hierarchy; play in one of 7 country leagues, trying to fight your way to the top (winning the USA Championship). Currently, we're in our 18th season, but we're just getting started; we expect to go for many years to come.

We're looking for owners who can stick around for a while; we pride ourselves on our rich history.

AVAILABLE TEAMS:

Maracaibo Jackals. An opportunity to take over a team in the second tier of the hierarchy. Last year they missed out on the playoffs by one game; could be a contender for instant promotion to the USA league.

Lagunillas Loros. Another team in the second-tier Cuba League. This team has the tools to compete, with a few tweaks.

This is a great league, with some great history. The promotion/relegation system works great, and it's a success if you can even keep your team in the top league! Also it makes for some exciting baseball if you're looking to avoid getting relegated. And you definitely do not want to get relegated.

I am in the WBH and have been for 12 seasons, and like most others in this league, I am quite addicted!

I have been in other leagues, but have not quite yet found one quite like this one.

There are a few teams available, but spots are filling up! Get in while the gettin's good!

Hamilton Steelers are available.

They have one of the best all-time pitchers in the hierarchy, a good bullpen, and a few good young hitters.
In the OOTPX WBH alternate timeline, they had the best record in Canada late in the upcoming season thanks to an overachieving bullpen and a power-heavy offense.

Regular season starts this week.

I have been in this league for over 13 seasons now and it's simply the best one I have been a part of. Something about the community and the rules gets you to really feel like these are your guys more then any league I have been in.

I'm not sure how many, if any, openings we have at the moment... however, if you are interested in joining, now is a great time: we are very early on in the offseason free agent period.

This is a fantastic league; it has been around for several real-life years, so you don't have to worry about it folding. The promotion/relegation format is wicked awesome, and gives EVERYONE something to play for. The sims are run in a timely fashion. We also have a great core of GMs who are welcoming and friendly.
